Fashion, food, lifestyle and culture in St Albans
As we swiftly approach February, I am left in a blur as to where on earth January escaped to…
Firstly, let me begin by wishing you all a very Happy, albeit belated, New Year. I trust that your Christmasses were merry and that your New Year’s were suitably celebratory.
I’ll be taking a quick dip back into 2012 and revisiting some of my highlights from last year before jumping head first into the glittery, heart confetti extravaganza that is February.
So, what’s in store for Style in my City this year?
Well, we kick off shortly with a beautiful new look. New branding and a shiny new site are imminent and we very much look forward to launching that soon.
I have been very busy this month gladly welcoming a team of wonderful new guest bloggers who will feature regularly on the site. We will have people blogging about Gentleman’s style, a domestic goddess supreme reporting on all things Food and Drink, health and fitness gurus who will be keeping us in check following said food and drink indulgences and oh so much more.
Together, we hope to bring you the latest in fashion, food, lifestyle, arts, culture, events and anything else we unearth along the way in our lovely little city.
Style in my city is also crossing multiple platforms in 2013. We will be in print later on this year, a glossy treat for you all and also entertaining you via the Radio waves. I am proud to have joined the Radio Verulam team and am currently in the middle of my presenter training putting the final touches to our own show.
The gorgeous Natalie B will still be bringing you the lastest tips and treats through our podcast and we are also going to be launching some videos, getting to know the faces behind the local business we love so much.
Exciting times. More on allll that to come, so stay tuned.
It’s a new year, a fresh start, make of it what you will folks. In the words of Brad Pitt, in quite possibly the worst movie of all time Troy, despite being a fan of anything that puts Brad in a leather ensemble, ‘Take it, it yours.’
Thank you Brad. For so many things.
